Free Dictionary Flow Launcher Plugin

This Flow Launcher plugin integrates with the Free Dictionary API to fetch word definitions and pronunciations with playable audio (if available).

• 📖 Instant Definitions – Quickly fetch word meanings from the Free Dictionary API. (Preview to view full definition if it is cutoff)
• 🔊 Pronunciation Support – Press Enter or click on the phonetic item to hear pronunciation (once audio is available and has done downloaded).

🛠️ Installation

Using Flow Launcher Plugin Store

1. Open Flow Launcher.
2. Navigate to Plugin Store.
3. Search for Free Dictionary and install it.

Using Flow Launcher

1. Open Flow Launcher
2. Run pm install Free Dictionary

Alternatively, install manually by downloading the latest release from the Release Page.

🎧 How to Use

1. Activate Flow Launcher (Alt + Space by default).
2. Type fd <word> (e.g., fd serendipity).
3. Browse definitions and preview long ones.
4. Press Enter or Click to play pronunciation if available.
