I've now updated the PR to use the "header note" style for this page as a test.

I agree with your comments—it would be fantastic if this "beautiful disagreement" leads to a consensus and a definitive update in the style-guide.md. Having one clear, official standard for this would be super helpful for all contributors (especially new ones) in the future.
